Abstract

Motivation is an important aspect in the work performance of workers and, to a greater or lesser degree, has an impact on the results in terms of productivity, quality, good working environment and interests, among others. This study investigates the relationship between work motivation and teaching performance, with the objective of proposing a work motivation program to improve teaching performance at the Centro de Educación Técnico Productivo N°002 "Tumbes", 2020. The methodology used is based on the positivist paradigm, under a quantitative approach, with a non-experimental design, of the feasible project type, with a descriptive research level. The study population consisted of 36 teachers of the technical-productive education center N° 002 Tumbes, being the same of finite type. The sample was constituted by the population. For data collection, the survey technique was used, the instrument being the questionnaire. Statistical-hermeneutic analysis was used as a data analysis technique. In conclusion, the results led to propose the application of a work motivation program to improve the performance of teachers in this community.
