Abstract

Introduction: The quality that exists in the field of health will bring together skills and capacities that both the health personnel and the infrastructure of the unit will lend to its users. Objective: Determine the level of satisfaction of the users with the quality of care provided by health personnel in the area of emergency room of the Abraham Bitar Dager Naranjito Hospital. Materials and Methods: The investigation of a descriptive level field study. The respondents were users, between 15 and 45 years old, female and male, who came from the different neighborhoods and sectors of the Naranjito canton and its surroundings; the survey was based in the Servqual method and the Likert taxonomy. Results: The information collected evidenced that most users agreed to state that there are limitations of infrastructure, equipment, materials and personnel that would affect the care received by emergency personnel. Conclusions: By reviewing the results, it was possible to determine that the service provided in the emergency area is considered of quality regular; result obtained through a survey based on the Servqual method.
