Abstract

Introduction: Adolescence is the stage during which the child becomes an adult, it is the cycle of life from 10 to 19 years of age. Adolescent pregnancy is increasing every day worldwide and with them are problems in the health of the mother and the child. Objective: The purpose of the research is to determine the risk factors of pregnant adolescents. Materials and methods: A quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional study was carried out; According to the sample, it corresponds to 108 pregnant women who attended the Basic Hospital El Triunfo. The collection of the information was carried out through a survey with sociodemographic variables, age, schooling of the adolescent, the data processing was carried out using SPSS 25 and Excel software. Results: It was found that 55% of the respondents belong to the ages of 15 to 16 years, the current occupation prevails 55% as older. The quantitative instrument has a validity of 98.05%; Relevance of 95.19%; coherence of 98.28% giving a total of 291.52, has a reliability of 97.17%. The qualitative instrument has a validity of 100%; 100% relevance; consistency of 90% giving a total of 290, has reliability of 96.66%. For the results of the pilot test, by objectives it was considered to choose the most important question to verify with the objective of the project. Conclusion: The prevention of adolescent pregnancies occurs due to ignorance about sexual and reproductive education and this affects the increase in pregnancies and complications.
