The generation of the scientific society in the teacher-researcher in the academy

Analyzing from critical reflection the importance of the research of teacher trainers of university professionals in the framework of higher education was the objective addressed in this research. Methodologically it is framed in the positivist paradigm under the quantitative documentary approach. Throwing as conclusions that the Institutions of University Education must diagnose their critical nodes in terms of the training of research professionals from a look at the research teacher, given the importance of research in the process of higher education in the country, considering the social role that higher education has in Ecuadorian society. Finally, highlighting the importance of assuming the investigative role of the teacher educator as a key and articulating element in the development of higher education academic programs within the framework of the teaching-linkage-research triad.
