Axiological considerations in the venezuelan university academic training

Abstract

The university, an institution of higher education, is based on the trilogy of academia-research and extension for the production of knowledge that leads to social transformation, through the teaching-learning process applied in society, once graduated as professionals. The Venezuelan university is conceived as a community of spiritual interests that brings together professors and students in the task of searching for truth and strengthening the transcendental values of man. The objective of the article is to promote values for this, axiology is indispensable, which is oriented towards the transcendental construction of the principles and values of the human being, which begins with the "I" as an individual and materializes in "we" that is to say, the collective or society. The study responds to the typology of qualitative research, and within the context, the interpretive or constructivist paradigm is located, for the interpretation of social interaction in which it is proposed to study the interpretations and meanings and ontologically, the researcher relates to the subjects, i.e. students and professionals in an intersubjective way, also using as a method, phenomenology to give interpretive sense of the behavior of professionals in their personal and collective experience, through the description and interpretation of these behaviors; since this method seeks to discover the meaning and sense of people's lived experiences. It is concluded that axiology, as a philosophical discipline, plays a relevant role in university academic formation, as a transcendental element of the individual and society.
