Psychological capital and job performance in organisations: Current trends and future directions in the digital era

Se realizó un estudio cuantitativo basado en 500 artículos indexados en Web of Science (2011–2025), con el propósito de mapear el estado del arte del capital psicológico (PsyCap) y su relación con el desempeño laboral, además de plantear una agenda de investigación futura. Se aplicó un análisis bibliométrico sistemático que consideró la evolución de la producción científica, las redes de colaboración y los contextos metodológicos predominantes, así como la identificación de brechas conceptuales. Dentro de los resultados, se identificaron tres fases evolutivas: una etapa de consolidación (2011–2019) liderada por China y Estados Unidos; una aceleración exponencial (2020–2025) con diversificación global y expansión hacia áreas como salud y educación; y un período reciente marcado por una integración interdisciplinaria. Como conclusión, se observó que metodológicamente predomina el enfoque cuantitativo transveral, con escasez evidente de estudios cualitativos y mixtos. Se identifican oportunidades de investigación relacionadas con el análisis dinámico del PsyCap, sus condiciones límite en entornos de hiperconexión digital y su integración con la inteligencia artificial.
