Abstract

The research article aims to determine the relationship between environmental territorial governance and the illegal economy of drug trafficking in the VRAEM in Peru. This research will use a qualitative, systematic, historical and explanatory method, applying tools such as literature review of scientific articles and journalistic publications to answer the correlational which will explain how social phenomena were born, are maintained and mutate. It will explain how the social phenomena were born, maintained and mutated. It will also illustrate the importance of international support and regulatory frameworks. This explains the relationship between social phenomena and their impact on governance. It can be concluded that the persistence of TID in binomial with seditious groups in the VRAEM makes the territory feel intimidated in its governance and security and that the connection with illegal actors is difficult to possess.
