Geopolitical Dynamics and Strategic Planning: Challenges and Perspectives of Organizations within the Framework of Agenda 2030

Abstract

This theoretical reflection explores the interrelation between geopolitical dynamics and strategic planning in organizations in light of the principles set forth by the 2030 Agenda. It assumes that the complexity of the current global environment, characterized by political instabilities and transnational challenges, necessitates a continuous reassessment of strategic models aimed at achieving organizational objectives while aligning with the scope of sustainable development. The main objective is to analyze the challenges and perspectives organizations face in integrating strategic planning processes within a dynamic geopolitical scenario. To this end, a qualitative approach was adopted, based on a systematic review of specialized literature, allowing for the identification of the implications of political and economic volatility on contemporary organizational management. The findings of this theoretical reflection highlight the need to develop flexible and adaptive planning models that incorporate mechanisms to manage uncertainty and transform threats into opportunities. The discussion underscores the importance of innovation in governance and the articulation of strategic alliances as effective responses to an ever-changing global environment.
