    Reviewers

The journal's review process is carried out through the intervention of two external evaluators from outside ACVENISPROH, from countries other than the journal's editing country, Venezuela. In situations where a consensus on the verdict is not reached, a third reviewer is called. It is relevant to note that, under these circumstances, the final decision regarding publication rests with the journal's editor-in-chief. The reviewers, suggested by the Scientific Advisory Board, play significant roles in ensuring the integrity of the peer-review process, which include:

    • Ensuring an impartial peer review, as well as scientific quality and rigor in the evaluation of articles.
    • Strictly adhering to the evaluation procedure established by the journal.
    • Preserving the confidentiality of all aspects related to the evaluation of the articles.
    • Maintaining objectivity in their evaluations, providing constructive arguments that guide authors in improving their manuscripts.
    • Complying with the established deadlines for evaluations.
    • Performing meticulous evaluations, taking into account the relevant theoretical and methodological aspects.
    • Verifying the absence of plagiarism. Although the Editorial Team performs a preliminary check using tools like Crossref's Turnitin, reviewers are expected to conduct their own checks.
    • Declaring potential conflicts of interest upon receipt of the article.
    • Avoiding the use of information, data, or ideas obtained from the manuscript for personal benefit.
    • Suggesting the inclusion of relevant and pertinent references to the topic that have not been cited by the authors.
    • Refraining from using information from the manuscript for the benefit of their personal research.
    • Contributing significantly to editorial decisions.

It is worth noting the collaboration of reviewers associated with or recommended by researchers from the Galileo Ecuador International Research Network (REDIIGEC), which has more than three hundred members from 13 Ibero-American countries. For more information about REDIIGEC, you can visit the website: https://www.admin.redgia.org/grupos_de_investigacion
