Abstract

Unemployment is a problem that is affecting the entire world, and one of the great strategies that minimizes the effects of unemployment is entrepreneurship. That is why the purpose of this research is to strengthen entrepreneurial skills in the residents of the sector "El Fortin" of the city of Guayaquil. This research was approached from a quantitative perspective, with the field modality. The population and the sample consisted of 34 inhabitants of the "El Fortin" sector of the city of Guayaquil. Data collection was carried out through observation and survey. As a result, the inhabitants of the El Fortin sector recognized that they have some weaknesses in the area of entrepreneurship, however, they expressed their willingness to strengthen their skills in this area. Therefore, it is concluded that this experiential experience allowed the development and strengthening of competencies in the entrepreneurs, which guarantees the economic dynamization of the sector under study.
