Inventory Management Procedures Manual for small Pharmacies in the city of Guayaquil

Demonstrate the importance of a procedure manual for inventory management for small pharmacies in the City of Guayaquil. Research approached from a field investigation, using the interview and the survey as a data collection technique and descriptive statistics for the analysis of the results. The sample consisted of 50 small pharmacies with daily sales between $300 to $500. Said investigation reveals that 75% of the sample surveyed were women and the workers interviewed state that sometimes they obtain medicines that have expired since they do not carry out an inventory frequently and more so during the pandemic due to Covid-19 due to the rapidity of giving the answers. The need for a procedure’s manual for inventory management in a small pharmacy is evident
