The role of teachers is essential in the education and training of future generations. They influence the development of students and provide them with the necessary tools to reach their full potential. However, they face psychosocial factors that can affect both their emotional well-being and the quality of their teaching. The aim of this article is to determine the relationship between psychosocial factors and Burnout syndrome among Health Sciences teachers at a private university in Lima, Peru. The methodology employed a quantitative approach with a non-experimental, cross-sectional, correlational design. A total of 132 teachers from the Faculty of Health Sciences at a private university in Lima, Peru, participated through non-probabilistic sampling. The "Psychosocial Factors in the Academic Environment Questionnaire" and the "Revised Burnout Questionnaire for Teachers" were administered. The results reported a medium level of psychosocial factors at 50.00%, however, in the workload dimension, a high level was recorded at 51.52%. A medium level of Burnout syndrome was also identified at 43.94%. However, in emotional exhaustion, a high level was observed at 49.24%. In conclusion, it was determined that there is a relationship between psychosocial factors and Burnout syndrome, with rho = 0.328 and a p-value = 0.000 < 0.05. This indicates a direct and low-magnitude relationship between these two aspects.
