The objective of the study was to determine the relationship between financial innovation and the economic well-being of merchants at the Huamantanga Wholesale Market, located in the district of Puente Piedra, during 2025. The study followed a quantitative approach using the hypothetical-deductive method, with a correlational scope, non-experimental design, and cross-sectional structure. The population consisted of 2,000 merchants, from whom a probabilistic sample of 322 participants was selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using two structured Likert-type questionnaires designed to measure financial innovation and economic well-being. The instruments showed adequate internal consistency, with Cronbach's alpha coefficients of 0.907 and 0.891, respectively. The Kolmogorov-Smirnov test showed that the data did not follow a normal distribution, with p less than 0.001; therefore, Spearman's rank correlation coefficient was applied. The results showed a positive and statistically significant relationship between financial innovation and economic well-being, with a Spearman's rho of 0.670 and p less than 0.001. Significant relationships were also identified with economic stability, with a rho of 0.626 and p less than 0.001, and with economic growth capacity, with a rho of 0.653 and p less than 0.001. It is concluded that greater adoption of financial technologies, modern financial services, and training processes is associated with better conditions of economic stability, savings, reinvestment, and economic growth among the merchants studied.
