Author Guidelines

General aspects

  1. The publishing standards for Más Vita are the Vancouver Standards.
  2. All works carried out by national or foreign researchers, as long as they meet the required scientific quality criteria, may be published.
  3. Articles related to completed research, literature reviews, technological development reports, scientific essays, proposals for models and educational innovations, products of degree projects and doctoral theses, promotion works, or institutional projects will be included. The presented works must be a contribution to the field of health sciences.
  4. It is important to highlight that submitting the work does not imply any commitment to publication. This will only be effective through the approval of the Arbitration Committee and the author(s) will be notified via email with the publication certificate. Having an acceptance letter for the article does not exempt the authors from making modifications to the article at the request of the Editorial Committee.
  5. The article will be evaluated based on criteria of originality, social relevance, timeliness, contributions, scientific rigor, and compliance with the editorial standards established in this journal.
  6. It is recommended that the author(s) do not simultaneously submit the same article to other journals.
  7. If the Editorial Committee or the reviewers find evidence of plagiarism, the article will be returned to the author and they will be sanctioned for two years, during which time they will not be able to publish in this journal.
  8. Authors will be asked to transfer the proprietary rights of the published articles so that the journal can publish them in physical and/or electronic formats, including the Internet.
  9. The article can be submitted in OpenOffice or Microsoft Word formats.
  10. All articles will undergo a rigorous peer-review process. The system selected by the Editorial Committee of Más Vita. Journal of Health Sciences
  11. is the double-blind system. In the double-blind system (Double–blind review) reviewers do not know the identity or academic affiliation of the authors, and vice versa.
  12. It is suggested that the author or authors omit direct references to other publications of their own. This can hinder the evaluation (Double–blind review).
  13. It is recommended that the number of co-authors of the article does not exceed 4. In the case of a greater number of authors, a participation certificate in a research project from a Higher Education Institution (HEI), Research Center, Research Networks, or related entities that endorse the proposed number of authors must be submitted. If the article responds to a clinical or experimental case, it must be accompanied by the corresponding Bioethics certificate.
  14. The original article must include in the header: the name of the author(s), the academic degree achieved, the name of the institution they belong to, email(s), and the ORCID code of each one, and the corresponding affiliation institution. Up to two (2) institutional affiliations can be included.
  15. All authors must register in the journal's OJS.
  16. Please enter your ORCID ID registration number. It is mandatory. If you do not have it, you must register at: https://orcid.org/.
  17. If the author(s) have more than one identifier (Research Gate, Academia, Google Scholar, or other), it should be added both in the OJS registration and in the data sent by email (if that system is used to submit the article).
  18. The article must be accompanied by a certificate addressed to the Editorial Committee.
