Strengthening of creativity in the members of the crear foundation, through drawing and painting workshops

The vulnerable population generally associated with high levels of poverty, requires the timely intervention of the institutions with actions that allow them to develop their creativity to generate activities in this way relevant to transform their shortcomings into opportunities. From this perspective, the objective of this research was to design strategies for the strengthening of creativity, through artistic expressions such as drawing and painting, in children and young people with cognitive disabilities, members of the Create Foundation. The methodology used corresponds to an investigation of field, descriptive level, non-experimental design, cross-sectional, low a quantitative approach and is supported by a documentary and bibliographic review. The sample were 14 children and young people aged between 10 and 16 years; whose parents signed their informed consent, authorizing the participation of his represented in this study. The results show that the activities associated with art such as painting and drawing, strengthen creativity in children and young people belonging to vulnerable sectors located in the cordons of poverty of Ecuadorian society.
