Introduction: The new Public Health crisis became visible in December 2019, in the city of Wuhan, the capital of the Hubei province - China, where several cases of severe pneumonia of unknown cause occurred. On January 7, the causative agent Coronaviridae (2019-nCoV) was identified. Frontline personnel are affected in different areas, therefore, the validation of documentary measurement instruments that contribute to improving the mental health of health professionals is necessary. Objective: To validate the quantitative and qualitative instruments that will allow us to identify the level of academic performance in teachers with burnout syndrome and resilience. Materials and methods: Study with a non-experimental or observational design, with a qualitative-quantitative, descriptive, prospective cross-sectional approach. In both instruments, expert judgment was applied as a validation criterion. For this, a questionnaire was carried out that was applied through the survey technique to 19 teachers. Results: The qualitative instrument yielded a total reliability average of 81.91 for its three categories, which places it in the very reliable category. And in the quantitative instrument, an average reliability of 89.94 was obtained, which indicates that it is located within the category of very reliable. Conclusion: The instruments are reliable and valid to measure the independent variable, and its correlation with the dependent variable, evidencing compliance with the general hypothesis of this investigation.
